New Fabia VRS owner...with problem ;)

Featured Replies

Hi All

Just thought id drop a quick message to say hey to everyone. Just bought my new 04 plate VRS yesterday and am absolutely loving it. I changed from a VW Golf GT Tdi, thought id keep within the VAG group ;)

The problem....ive noticed that when i drive above 50-60mph i get a noticeable wobble on the steering wheel and it pulls to the left too, quite a lot on harsh acceleration. The bloke i bought it off took it to a garage and had the tracking done and thought this had rectified the problem but unfortunately it hasnt....any ideas?

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Stu

Get your wheels balanced for the wobble.

Tracking does not cause pulling, axle out of alignment does, Get it four wheel aligned.

Apologies, i just checked the paperwork, he did get the wheels balanced. Do you think if it needs alignment doing it would fix the wobble and the left pulling?

console bushes.... listen for creaks over speed bumps, check front tyres for wear on the inner edge..

cure: replace with cupra solid bushes.
