I currently have a Nokia 7230 Slide phone that works fine with my VRS via rSAP. My VRS was built in early 2010 and I have a Bolero head unit.

I have just signed up for a Nokia N8 and I wondered if I am likely to run into any issues with connecting to the car's bluetooth?

Yes is the answer for anyone searching for this in the future.

Tesco Mobile are doing a good deal on these by the way - £20 per month on contract, 750 cross-network minutes, 5000 texts and 1GB data limit.

Had the contacts transfered over from my old Nokia in a few seconds, then new N8 paired with my bluetooth in the VRS in about 90 seconds.

I nearly went with Tesco Mobile and then read the reviews!!

Luckily T-Mobile matched the Tesco Deal - 600 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £25 a month on the Samsung Galaxy S.

Nearly had an N8 but a bit bored of 6 years of Symbian!
