Hi all, i'm new to this forum but not to the Skoda Fabia vRS. I used to own the mk1 vRS and fell in love instantly!!! Just everything about it made me smile, from the unconventional styling to scaring so called 'hot hatches'. But then our family grew and unfortunatly my vRS had to go....but now 4 years have past and 3 weeks ago I found myself at my local Skoda dealer signing the contract for a brand spanking new Fabia vRS. And now i'm like a fat kid on the way to a sweet shop!! but I want it....I WANT IT NOW!! but as this saying goes, good things come to those who wait. What do Fabia vRS owners think of their own little fabia? your feedback is much appriciated.

Infotainment system switches itself on

Hi, It happened twice now that I walked past my parked and locked Mk IV Octavia and I noticed that the infotainment system was on and the radio playing. Anyone had this before? Both times it was on a sunny day, so quite warm inside the car. Is there any way so that the infotainment system can only be switched on with a key present? Car is from Sep 2020 with 1941 software version. Thanks, Peter

Skoda Octavia Mk 3 2.0 TDI 150, 2016, Mileage: 270 K km. My Skoda has been making some strange shakings since February. Around the time the engine heat hits 90 degrees, which is normal running temperature, the car shakes harshly, sometimes smoothly, sometimes just once, sometimes 2 or 3, or more, with irregular laps in the following 1 or 2 minutes. Hi everyone. First off, apologies if this has already been covered. I did take a look but couldn't find anything specific. For history, it's a 13 plate TDI vrs Octavia (MK2) was rattling like a good un' so replaced clutch and flywheel (and slave cylinder) did do a SMFW conversion too. Turns out, that WAS a problem, but the gearbox is also shot, so that's on my list to replace next. Started and drove home fine that night. Next day, I drove it to work (about 20 minutes) no problems. Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ? My problem is that while my newest purchase of a 2020 Skoda Kodiak , 150 HP and Front wheel drive, is a delight in every way, my car insurance has gone through the roof, and when I queried it, I was informed that one of then reasons for the increase (more than.€200) is that its a 4x4 AWD.
