calling VRS owners with the rear tyre problems

Featured Replies

I am puzzled, i must admit. Yes, i had the sawtoothing on the rear of my car. SO, i had it profesionally aligned and was found to be way out so adjusted accordingly. Since then the tyres have worn perfectly accross the tread. My problem i have now though is that my tyres which were fitted new at 13500 miles have just gone illegal at 17500!! What a nightmare?!? Why have they worn so quickly- this cant be normal, surely? I put the same tyres on the front at 9000 miles and they are still going strong at 17500 miles fo it must be something wrong with the suspension on the back? The car does feel like it crashes over bumps but should i put that down to the fact that there is hardly any rubber left on the back?

Advice or options appreciated!!!

Cheers
