Outlook...Spam

Featured Replies

Righty hho I've had to use outlook for somthing as I can't get it to work with thunderbird...now it's been a long time since I used outlook.

Can anybody suggest a very good spam remover at source or filter to divert junk into the bin?

Also any other tip top tips for outlook?

Links or verbose replies welcomed.

I use spampal at home (don't I, Q ;) ). It tags messages with a configurable tag and you then build an outlook rule to move them. If you have access to the mail server, there are filter programs you can run at source, or if you have an IMAP mailbox, but I don't, so I don't know much about them.

mailwasher

This is the verbose reply.

Is that a verbose reply, Jon? :D

Use outlook 2003 and it has a pretty effective spam filter built in

spambayes - its VERY good and free

Spam X-Terminator. Does what it says on the tin. Transparently, quickly and very easily.

Used Mailwasher before and although it was effective, it was extremely annoying and time consuming in use.
