Hi,

Car 56 plate Petrol VRS 32K FSSH.

Engine light came on last night and also this morning on the journey to work.

Light went out when I started car so I could take it to garage down road at lunch, code read as per title.

Code has been cleared and EML is still off, so will see how we go over the next few days.

Any ideas on this, anyone had this fault come up before.

I'll wait and see if the light comes back on, which I guess it will if what you suggest is the fault.

Do you know would that have any other side effects?

I'm not sure if it runs a bit rough when cold. (never sure if its in your head when a light comes on)

My brother is a Mech, but not on VAG stuff so he can probably replace it, or is it a dealers only job (does it need calibrating or something to the ECU?)

Its a shame your so far away from me, as everyone on Briskoda swears by you.
