TDi and PD TDi?

Featured Replies

Just started an insterest in the VRs (about an hour ago actually) lol after look on sites and reviews, it seems theres a new PD unit out?

So has anyone compared the older TDi to the newer PDTDi?

When exactly did the PD appear?

cheers guys n gals

AFAIK, the VAG 130 has always been PD. Not sure where you've got that info from.

Cheers,

Ben

The PD has been out for at least 4 years in Skodas, and even longer in other guises such as VW - (pd115)

the 90/110 TDIs were the predecessor and having driven both I prefer the PD, but the old TDIs still drove miles better than other brands like the HDI and other "TD"s

i asked the dates and the tdi was 02 (or 03) to 04, and the 130bhp on 04 onwards???

Maybe we've all been duped into buying a TDI unit instead of a PD TDI unit Damn Skoda I tell you :D
