New cupra bushes, now what?

Featured Replies

Having got the usual rattly front end on rough roads, I just got both sides done with cupra console bushes. It's slightly better but the knocking / rattling is still there. The garage don't have any real answers...

What next?

Thanks

Strut top mounts??

The other main culprits are the ARB bushes, or the ARB drop links. B)

ARB bushes.

Cheers everyone!

In terms of narrowing down whether ARB bushes or the droplinks, are there any simple ways to work it out? I know both are cheap but it'd be a PITA to change one and find it was the other!

Thanks

To check the ARB bushes, turn the steering onto full lock, get someone to rock the car from side to side whilst you check the ARB for excess movement. It will be clear if there is too much play :)
