Took the plunge and drove the 45 miles to order a Yeti this morning after Telfords at Carlisle gave me a deal that couldn't be ignored. I have been trying for three weeks to see if I could get a better deal elsewhere and James (who was really helpful and gave sound advice) was the only one that got close. Sadly James is about about a 700 mile round trip from me so Telfords got the order - sorry James.

There is a brand new Skoda dealership at Workington (13 miles away) but their quotes weren't even in the same 'ball park' (by a huge amount) as Telfords for Yeti deals.

Deborah Irwin of Telfords definitely provided an unbeatable deal. The down side is that the earliest I will see delivery is September - the up side is I've got plenty of time to sell the Citroen!

Just keep the faith and follow the forum your wait will soon pass.

It does come with the estate still. If they search for it they'll find it fairly easily under flashlight. Part number for a black one is 3T09474279B9 the ivory ones have a slightly different part number. I think they are £30 or something.

Thanke james I had already given them the part No's which appeared to be correct:

3T0 947 417 9B9 (satin black LED light)

3T0 947 509 9B9 (Satin black holder - also missing)

This is when they claimed they had been dropped!!

This matter is far from closed though!!

Wait till the next time I see Deborah - she would not give me 1p discount off my Yeti - arriving in May/June (I hope). She had better significantly up the "agreed" trade in price on our Fabia - on which even www.wewillbuyyourcar.com have made me a MUCH bigger offer. Not happy.

Best of luck on trying to get a bigger offer for the trade in - I got exactly the same part-ex price from all the Skoda dealers I tried so I'm selling the Citroen privately.

Maybe I got lucky because Telfords have got a special deal going on this weekend of 9% discounts on most Skoda models?

My car was ordered through Autofinders, I have been dealing with Paul from there, he assures me that:

"I have spoke to telfords they tell me that is the only torch available. They no longer come as standard in the car so are not part of the standard specification."

which is why I was supplied with a generic Skoda 12v halogen Torch.

The salesman at Telfords was R Wragg.

Not bad for a car that was collected in December with the items missing, these have had to be PURCHASED by autofinders :wonder:
