Question: Computer adjustments

Featured Replies

My new Octavia is due to be delivered at the end of this month. As I read about software adjustments for the headlight (always-on) I was wondering what else can be adjusted in the car's computer.

Are there any nice extra-features that can be used by just changing the settings?

If the MK2 is like the MK1, then you can enable anti-hijack locking. This is an automatic doorlock activated when you travel above 7mph.

Also, can the CD-player Stream be modded/adjusted to play mp3's? I take it that it has the same processor as the Audience, so there must be a way.....

Can it be that it is in the way the mp3 cd is burned?

I'm really interested in your friend's story on how he or she got the cd-player to accept mp3's. That would really save lots of us loads of money spent on connecting mp3 players/cd changers. Also the huge price difference between the Stream and the Audience player would no longer be justified by the mp3 capability.....
