Well met up with Ad Lav earlier today to collect the new wheels - cheers mate. They are 17' BBS RK504 two-piece split rims wrapped in Yoko Parada 2 tyres

I must say that i'm loving them so far and received mixed feedback thus far when comparing them to the Twists - good to be different tho....

Need to purchase some BBS centre caps, and get some better pics, so here's a taster;

What happened the other day to not taking the twists off

Look good against the blue Gareth, nice to see something a bit different too.

theres definately something about them, but i think it needs something doing to them, different colour on the spokes leaving the lip i reckon, just what colour, but i know they have just been refurbed lol

I said this before buying, but they are definitely much better in the flesh!

What is the swirely pattern on the red car behind yours in the 2nd picture?

Can't make my mind up on them though, think the bolts look too big on the inner rim? :S

Ignore the usual followers Gareth, I think they look really good, infact, they look better on yours than they did one mine!

Red centre caps will finish it off, along with more low on the front and spacers on the rears maybe?

Took the front down two turns lower than the 'twists' setting, so wanted to see if it'll settle any lower. If not, the 256mm rears will be going on next weekend, so will lower more at the front whilst the car is up on the ramps. I'm far too lazy these days to get out on the drive with a trolley jack!

Possibly mate....still not sold on putting 'fake' stickers on genuine wheels.

Black or silver genuine caps are about £12 a go, but the reds are the ones that I really want....

Yeah it's a pain, but kinda needed to complete the wheels. I think I'm going to order some silver ones, whilst I wait for / search for some reds. If needed I'll bite the bullets and order them from Japan. Once they arrive, I could make some money back by selling the silvers...
