Sticking throttle problem

Featured Replies

I picked up my VRS this week, and I've noticed that sometimes as I come off the throttle and put it into Neutral/depress the clutch, the throttle seems to be sticking slightly as the idle will be slightly higher than usual, if I then press/lift the throttle from underneath it goes back to normal idle.

Any ideas please as to how it can be fixed?

I do have warrenty if it's a problem that needs to be looked at properly.

Thanks

Liam

Hi I would put my money on the pedal being at fault new ones are around the £70-£80 I believe, apparently an easy job but as it's under warranty personally I would take it back to the garage

It's not the pedal but apparently the 'fly by wire' throttle control module.

The module will cost you around £80

Sorry wasn't sure on what it was called so just put pedal lol either way I'd still take it back to the garage being under warranty an all
