Removing rear bumper - PDC

Recommended Posts

There should be a connectore behind the bumper - Remove the bumper, follow the wiring to the rubber grommet on the back of the car, pull it out and disconnect the connectore inside.

Not got factory parking sensors, I'm presuming your are?? But one tip.. It says in the manual you need to reomove the black rubbing strip, but you don't. There's 4 bolts under it, but you can get to them from inside the boot.

If you look under the bumper before you remove it, you'll probbly see if there's a connector, or enough slack cable. There's a lot of room under there.

Good tip, SP-1

Skoda do 2 types of sensors - One is the factory fit, and the other is the genuine skoda accessory retrofit kit, which I have.

If you have factory fit, there is a connector on each sensor, if you have the aftermarket one, you have to pull the rubber grommet out and disconnect the cable that way.
