It was a job, I had to get them right. But you were right Amanda, I only took around 200 shots of all of the competitors, and had to throw away 3!

I just loved this one because of the expression.

Well except for the fact I now own a 7D + Grip. Need to beef up my weedy arms though Next stop full frame eh?

Enjoy that beast. The 50D plus 24-105 weighs a fair amount -a neoprene strap helps when carrying, I find.

As to full frame, and old friend of mine is selling his 5D Mk1 for a measly £500. Slow, but quality shots.

The 7D is actually heavier than the 5D mkII. I think my Compact may get a lot more use int he future, at least were a lot of walking is involved Guy at work has a 5D mkI and in many ways the pictures are still superior to any of the C sensor cameras I have seen. He is a cameraman by trade however, so that might have something to do with it.
