Really easy as instructions and a little plastic tool comes with them. Took me an hour from start to finish.

Looks much better. Where did you get the vinyl from?

Looks good!!

The stuff i used is genuine skoda stuff all pre cut for the job. It will no doubt last more than a year!

and probably look alot better too....I was skint at the time and it was all I could afford.

Looks good mate, that was one of my first mods when I had my vRS.

Looks great Matt - surprising how big the glass area looks now! lol

I like the 'cleaner' look

Same here.

Although i opted for a gloss finish on mine, as apposed to Matt, and also done my grille the same.

That's what I want to do with mine. I've got the vinyl, just can't decide if I@m going to have a go myself, or be a chicken and pay someone else to do it.

How easy was it, and how did you prep the paint etc?

I put these on my black (yes, black) vRS.

I was happy with the difference in "texture" looked a bit more up market in an Audi / BMW kinda way.

I'd say I got mine on 98% correct.. got 1 or 2 very little bubles where the top of the windows frame changes direction.

I suspect I stuck them on a couple of mm to high though.

Did you find there's not much room for error? They are "EXACTLY" the right length.. they could have made it 3 or so mm longer and made it a much easier job, lol..

I'm pretty sure you can apply the vinyl straight onto the paint work as long as the surface is clean. If fairly flat so will be easy to apply. Use a plastic card to help you apply it. Going to be doing this with carbon fiber wrap i think

Yeah there is very little room for error with them! Got them all spot on though thankfully.

Its really easy, you clean the pillars then pull the rubbers out and the door/window strip off then apply them from the top. Use a card or the tool that comes with the kit and work from the top down to avoid air bubbles.
