Stiffed by Superskoda

Featured Replies

Just recieved my delivery from Superskoda. I ordered a vRS boot spoiler, a clearance item on the website painted in black magic 109.99 Euros. I had a piece of brick fall off my roof because of the frost a few months ago and land on my spoiler. I had the option of a bodyshop or stick on a spoiler. I thought the black would contrast nicely and also match the A pillars glossy finish so took a chance on the spoiler. If it didn't match, the cost of painting it white to match wouldn't be prhibitive. So what's the problem? The problem is that the spoiler is a shabby second hand item that will need dents and scratches filling before priming and repainting. As a side to this I also ordered some stainless steel door handle covers (debateable as to how they would look but thought I'd take a chance) only to find they are the wrong size. The box says Lupo which is probably the same as Octy and Fabia 1.

Beware ordering from here. I've sent an e-mail and will have to see what they offer but as they are based in the Czech republic I imagine not much. I may have some recourse through Paypal if it comes to it.

Fingers burned :swear:

oops...

Bodyshop it is mate :D

Not the first time someone on here has ended up with secondhand kit from Superskoda.

Make sure the Czech bounces.

I would be very interested to hear what the outcome is and how these guys deal with thier mistakes as I have seen a few things I might get when I find my Fabia II.

I received an e-mail asking to send photos, which I did. I received a mail back saying I had the correct item and how much discount do I want when I can buy a new one for 270eur + paint! I don't know if the sarcasm was intended or just appeared in translation. They offered to refund me the full cost of the order if I return the spoiler at my own expense and I could keep the door handle covers that don't fit for my trouble. I don't have a lot of trust or confidence in them now and have decided to put it down to experience and get this one refinished. I did point out that their sums were wrong and that it costs £167 (~190Eur) unpainted in the UK. I would recommend if you buy from them that you contact them before you buy to get confirmation that you are buying what you think you are buying.

there crap been loads of stuff on them
