Fabia vRS MPG

Featured Replies

Thought it would be good to have a separate thread for the vRS. I'm pretty sure MPG and perfomance should get better with mileage so thought it would be good for people to post up what they are getting now and well as the mileage then do it again every so often to see if it's improving or not.

There was a massive, massive thread about this a while back mate :)

I know there was one for all Fabia's but I must have missed the vRS one. It's still early lol

No worries.

Might put a request in to sticky that subject, seems to be a very common question at the moment.

Same here. Doing that already with my Mk1

Been meaning to do the fuelly thing for a while now. If i have got it right, you'll be able to see my mpg for the first 3000 miles. Getting better though, just over 40 mpg for the last tankfull

42 mpg on the last trip , but usually my rightfoot is way heavier then that!

Gonna see what happens when I get some software in it and see how "bad" it gets with Ethanol x)!

Who's using fuelly.com ?

http://www.fuelly.com/car/skoda/fabia%20vrs

I'll be tracking mine on there once it arrives.

I'm using fuelly as well... I have been using standard unleaded after the first 1k (A whole other thread, dont get people started on buing a VRS and not putting superunleaded in!)

results below... waiting for the 47mpg claimed in other threads when run in 5k plus...

I saw now that I converted to mpg US.

Now when I used a brittish site , I get 49,56 mpg as an average over the last trip!

Not too shabby I'd say...
