You'll get a better response if you post this in the Fabia MKI area of this forum!!! Some cone filters and kits are ***** I made my own fully sealed cold air induction system which is much better than most other kits as these just take in warm air from the engine bay!! There is the option of just fitting a K&N or Green cotton replacement pannel filter and then fitting the PD160???? air intake take a look on the Fabia technical and Fabia MKI areas! B)

At first I had a K&N panel filter fitted along with the PD160 inlet. I then purchased a K&N 57i and this helped the engine rev and gave it a nice deep throaty exhaust note. I then refitted the K&N panel air filter and de finned the airbox. That was purely because I had read a lot of the mk1 octy guys were doing this and thought why not try it on my fabia. This made the engine smooth but lost a bit top end. I then bought a K&N Apollo Air filter and that was better (cost a lot more) than the 57i. It helpd the top end power and gave the exhaust a nice throaty note. I still have the 57i, albeit apart from the bracket to hold it as I broke that by accident. New brackets can be purchased from K&N very cheaply. If you want it at a fraction of the price then its yours for £35 all in rather than £100 they cost brand new.
