YOKOHAMA PARADA

Featured Replies

Ive searching the web trying to decide which tyres to go for im thinking about the Parada's i can get these fully fitted for £370 for 4 does that sound about right? has any one got any opinions on these?

I had Parada spec 2 on an Integra Type R. Excellent in the dry but not so good in the wet, they had a tendency to have a sudden loss of grip even at slow speeds. That was running on the standard 15's.

205/40/17's?

I managed to get mine for £250 brand new all 4 and paid a further £20 for fitting.

There is definitely £100 to be shaved off of that price. I think you will find there are some places cheap on ebay. There is a seller in Macclesfield, think he charges £290 fully fitted.

The least you could do is get these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/YOKOHAMA-205-40-17-TYRES-PARADA-SPEC-2-SET-4-NEW-/400209253045?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item5d2e5492b5

And then get someone to fit them.

not if it's 205/45/16 there isn't. Seems the std tyres size for VRS's is fecking expensive!

I got a set of four for mine in 215/40 17 for the bargain price of £60 lol.

Bit overkill for an MPi but at that price it's cheaper than budgets. Unsurprisingly I haven't exceeded them yet.

Lol nice

I was looking at 205/45/R16 but I may change my alloys so would need 205/40/R17 which are cheaper

Yeah, seem to be very good.

Haven't pushed the car too hard since fitting, so not sure of their limits yet

I think its more a size specific thing, if you have a look on the dc2 forum its quite a common complaint. Plus the teg has less weight over the front axle.

I sold my ones on ebay for 150 6-7mm 215 40 17, they gone after 1 hour, seen new 205 40 17 on ebay for 260 few weeks ago

I think 370 a bit over prieced

I have only every fitted the spec 2 tyres to my vrs and think they are unbelievable in all weather conditions

There the best tyre ive ever had. Ill be replacing mine soon withthem again.

In the dry they dont seem to have any limits, they just grip and grip.

In the wet they are dodgy, especially on standing water as the surface area doesnt let water out very well. You'll get the feel ofthem in the wet and know not to do anything silly. (put it this way, in the wet i can wheelspin in 5th properly) where as in the dry there just amazing :-D
