I have put a 2nd gen. ipod touch in the car just for music so it can stay in the car all the time and ill update it when needed with music, in lieu of leaving a hard drive in the car or memory stick.

It all works fine.

However if you search by artist via the Sat Nav you get the A-Z list which you have to scroll through for ages to get from A to Z. Is there a quicker way of doing this, like on the ipod if you scroll quickly it brings up the letters so you can skip from B to Z quickly ? I have read the manual and cant find anything about speeding up the scrolling (of course could have missed it).

Anyone else give any opinion ? or solution ?

Its not the end of the world suff, and I know I can scroll via the ipod itself but wanted to do it via the sat nav due to what I consider nice integration between the ipod/mdi/amundsen

On the Columbus and belero you have a side scroll bar same as in microsoft internet explorer. Just touch your finger on the screen and drag down to which artist you want. Does the Amundsen not have a scroll bar?
