Columbus Phone Book

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to delete the phone book on the columbus system? I have managed to duplicate a number of entries on the system and I would like to delete the complete book and start again. Any sensible suggestions would be welcomed.

I think the only way is to remove yourself as a user, then re-pair your mobile with the car and start again - at least, that's the only way I could get what you need to work. :)

I think you have to delete your phone under the 'User' option within the Bluetooth Menu in Maxdot.

Once removed, the Phonebook is deleted. You can then reload your phone as a new user and your phonebook is uploaded again from your phone.

Hope this helps.

Thanks to you both for your replies, I will do as you suggest and start again. My problem was that first I loaded the sim card, and then sim and phone. I will be more carefull next time.

Thanks again.
