More Handbrake binding Q

Featured Replies

hi all im new here, ive been having these issue with my seat leon mk1 tdi and i know they have the same calipers,

when i take the handbrake off and spin the wheel with it jacked up it binds a little and after a drive the offending caliper and disc are a lot warmer than the other side,im just wondering if these spring clips would cure this problem,i have stripped and removed the piston and that works fine and is free but i think the handbrake is causing the binding.

for those who have had this problem and fitted the spring clips were your handbrake lever arms where the cable pulls returning to their stops?Mine does so this is why im having my doubts that these will help me...

Its only £4.60 vat inc to find out at VAG for two Sharan springs.
