Hi, I have an 04 vrs and have done my aircon today and fully serviced it but just wanted to know where the pollen filter is so I can replace that too.

Passenger footwell

Two sliding plastic clips, then the filter pops out, Buggar to get back in right lol

Passenger footwell - under the glovebox.

Get on your hands and knees and look up at the underside of the glovebox. Nearest the centre of the car you should see a long, thin rectangle running front-> back with two sliding plastic clips over it.

Slide the clips away from themselves and pull - it should drop out. Make sure to check the direction of the filter, and refit ensuring the new one goes in round the right way.

It's worth putting some newspaper or something in the footwell to collect all the crap that'll fall out with the filter removal.

Thanks for the quick replies I will take it out tomorrow and get me a new one as my aircon was smelling like a dead dog until it was serviced! Lol
