OBD with VAGCOM SUPERB 2007

Featured Replies

I own a superb 3U 2007 77KW TDI. I've been told that I could use OBD VAGCOM with the old interface cable witch only cost about 15 €.

This is functional with VAGCOM 409.1 or lower. Can anyone confirm this.

I'm not sure because I read on a website that after 2003 VAG uses the expensive communication cable with licence build in the cable.

Annyone tried this?

Thanks,

Michael

You will need the lite version of VCDS (VAGCOM). If you have seen anything with ver 409 it is most likely a china-copy cable and that means stay away.

If you are going for the 15€ cable and the lite version, there are a lot of limitations. Check the function chart here:

If you are going to do repairs and service yourself, there is no way around the full version.
