just bought a 99 felly 1.3 glxi {sounds good eh} she is as tight as a nut, but ! she loses power every now and then, if i give it the boot it comes back to normal. i have put a new exhust on but not the cat, filters are good, plugs ok and throttle housing seems ok, would it be the cat or how do i know ?

Yeah, clean it and see if it's better! its an easy job you can just do it in situe with a bit of carb cleaner or if you're careful brake cleaner and a rag.
