Noise when braking

Hi all,

first proper post an' all that.....

had the Octy for 2 weeks now, love it to bits.

Only issue to surface so far is when the brakes are applied there is a noticable clonk coming from the rear end.

Not too loud, but audible enough to cause me some concern.

So, before I go back to the guy who sold it to me, is there anything I should know.

Anyone else had this?

car is: 1.9tdi, 08 plate 77,000 miles estate, manual.
