312mm brake upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I need some help...

A long time ago I read a guide for the 312mm brake upgrade, with all the parts numbers, including upgrading a non-vrs. It also had the partno. for wheelbearings and the hub, which I need to change as I´m currently running 256mm.

Hope you can help...

Ah I was about to say it's in general guides, I think it's because I did that over 5 years ago and that was a rehash of one I did a few years before that..lol

Thanks alot guys.

Do you by any chance have the partno for the hub and wheelbearing? Is that all I need to chance to fit the 312mm kit?

Which other cars can I take the hub from?

Part numbers are in the guide.

By chance Tech1e in your picture it seems you have them running on standard mk1 alloys assuming there 16" is it a rather snug fit??

It is snug, but as the Octavia vRS came with 16" wheels they do fit.
