Question for Simon (Baker21)

Right Mr,

The black plastic trim around the base of the windscreen/wioers on the Fabia seems badly faded.

It's quite a large area, but do you think GTechniq C4 is suitable for that area ?

:)

Fankoo..

Suggest you look at Black Wow or Almond Oil.

I can vouch for C4 on the skuttle trim as I used it on my Octavia and Corsa -- link to my thread on Detailing World from when I did the Corsa below......

There are many trim restorer's on the market that will help you out with this problem, in most cases the biggest point to consider is it's durability, some will offer a nice sleak deep gloss look and other's a natural look but as you have suggested C4 at the moment is a great buy........

You could use something as simple as Peanut Butter moving onto 303 Aerospace Protectant but for a nice original finish which is super durable then I would agree with alexandjen, C4 is a great product....... ;)

Obviously it's a much smaller sample size for the price but well worth it:

If you want to use something all over for the engine bay as well then maybe 303 Aerospace Protectant is a better buy:

...and the most important question, how is it lasting?

It has faded a bit but still looks black rather than faded and patchy like it was when I first applied it, must say I am impressed with the durability of C4

how long has it been on for? It says it guranteed to last for 2 years, if it didn't do that then I would complain lol.

Just to clarify... This won't clean the plastic will it? It only brings back the black?

I know this is probably taboo, but what about spraying it with a rattle can? Done that on my first car and it worked fine.
