Ive seen afew fabis with single din headunit conversions using a double cup holder surround from a polo/gold?? Least i think thats what its out off? Does anyone one have and pics? Part number?

Secondly what size are the front door speaker adapters? 14cm??

The single DIN head unit requires a fill strip between the top of the stereo and the underneath of the row of dash buttons This is a cheap piece (£3 ish!!) code no 6Y0 857 231 B41 from your local Skoda dealer.

The double cup holder from the Golf MKIV fits into the space taken up by the existing cubby hole or slide out draw beneith the stereo!

There is the option of the fancy cup holder from later spec Elegance which fits in the vertical blanking piece to the left of the double din unit area!

Never changed the front speakers as OEM seem ok.

I already have the pop out vertical cup holder but it always causes an arguement because it only holds 1 can, thanks for the info
