I am looking to get my new de badged grille spoiler and inlets sprayed, i have a black vrs does anyone have an idea how to find out the exact colour so i can pop into halfords and get the right paint

Have not tried was just going to get the paint frm halfords and give it a go but need some sort of code

Go to the dealer and get the stuff then you should get a good colour match.

Also try doing a 'search' on here as a few others have colour coded the grilles on their cars. IIRC you will need a special undercoat to spray over the shiny chrome bit.

There is also a guide on how to dismantle the grille on here somewhere!!!

The exact colour code for your car will be on a sticker in the boot, but you won't get it from Halfords.

do halfords not make up the paint to match the code Des?

Not that I know of.

Just looked at your profile to see where you are in the world as there are a couple of companies in Kent that can make up spray in a can, but I think Scotland maybe a bit far away.

Look for a body shop in your area, they usually do cans of touch up.

Yep go to halfords or any local paintshop suppliers. Avoid main dealers like the plague. I'd hate to think this site lined the Skoda UK coffers anymore than necessary
