My 54 plate Fabia has a really harsh annoying beep when I'm low on dees bulbs gone etc, but my mates 07 SE has a really nice beep lol quiet

Is this a difference in the facelift (although I thought I had facelift) is it something that can be changed in vagcom??

Mine is a pre facelift, and it's definitely not a harsh beep.

If you can, run a full VCDS scan against both cars Tas, see if the versions of the Convenience module fitted are different. In the logged Autoscan file, the version of each module on the car will be noted.

I'm pretty sure this is the reason that some have different beep types. All my previous Fabias have had the harsher beep, and there was never anything I could find in VCDS to alter it.
