Skoda Favort Trim Levels - Details please

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have done some searching on here and on google but cannot find a definitive answer. For the favorit, What are the different trim levels and what should they include? LS/GS/GSX etc.....

If this has been covered before apologies and a link would be just fine :)

Cheers all.

Check out parkers car details, they give loads of details usually.

Good idea, but alas they have nothing. They showed the different types, but not what each one included :(

I'd try posting this on the Skoda Forum - there are a few over there who have plenty of knowledge of such minutiae.

Hello mate, when you say the skoda forum, which do you mean? a different section in here? or a different website all together? Cheers for your time!

Any help - Wikipedia ? :wonder:

How much detail do you need? I have got some of the brochures for the different models. I am more familiar with the later editions, LXi, LXi Plus (with Sunroof), GLXi. Last editions were the LXiE, LXiE Plus (again with sunroof), GLXiE. Skoda did a number of more limited editions towards the end such as the Flairline, Silverline, Blackline, and Cd edition which were bolt on packs to the existing spec. e.g. we had a LXiE Flairline.

Im mostly interested in the 135LS as thats what i have. I want to know if it had a rear wiper as standard cause i got the hole in the boot lid, but no wiper or motor. The previous owner said all the wiring is there for the motor and kids smashed it on the street, but there is no damage to the paint you would expect from vandalism and also the washer bottle only has 1 motor! so if it has a wiper as standard then i will buy a motor and plug it in. but if it didnt have one then i presume he lied, and it has had a new boot lid for some reason and i will smooth over the hole and leave it at that.

Specs differed from country to country. I believe here in the UK the 135LS had the wiper fitted at the importer at Kings Lynn, along with the sunroof & stereos. There was a Forum/L model here that had steel wheels and no rear wiper or sunroof or radio cassette.

The LS here had rear spoiler, rear washwipe, 5 spoke alloy wheels, sunroof, Philips digital radio cassette, and front foglamps.

The LXi/LXie Plus did not have a sunroof as standard, but was part of the range of dealer fit options. The differences between them were a Blaupunkt radio cassette with 2 speakers (4 on the estate) and a 60/40 split rear seat, and remote boot release, plus a centre console. The Flairline model added the stereo & other gubbins to the basic LXiE spec, and the plus was dropped from the range (In reality the flairline was the old Plus, and the basic LXiE was given the boot due to the poverty spec of just a rear wiper & heated rear window), leaving just the LXiE Flairline & GLXiE Flairline and run out Qualitaire/CD in estate form. The GLXiE Flairline version added smoked rear lights and headlamp wash from the previous Silverline 54 bhp edition, and an upgraded Blaupunkt stereo, and central locking. I was working for a Skoda main dealer at the time, and remember all the runouts as the Felicia came on stream in the UK. The estate soldiered on for almost a year before the Felicia model was launched, but was only available in top spec CD/Qualitaire and wasn't popular.

The old man had an LXiE Flairline in Caribbean green, and it was faultless in the 4 years he owned it, unlike the Felicia he replaced it with...
