Felicia estate shock absorber choice?

Featured Replies

At a little over 51,000 miles and twelve and a half years the shock absorbers are feeling a little tired. Since the car is only used for normal driving, and because I would like to keep costs low, I'm thinking about buying front and rear shock absorber kits from Jorily. Does anyone know how they will compare with standard Skoda parts?

I'm completely happy with mine from jorily. The original skoda ones which came off were very tired (one front had collapsed)so could give a comparison. My Felicias a pick up, but I would have no prob recommending them.

Thanks for the vote of confidence in the dampers.

you'd be surprized how cheap the genuine ones are to buy from the skoda dealer nowadays... circa £30 each iirc which is very reasonable

We do Monroe rear Shockers at the moment at £21.84 each (Inc VAT) for the Felicia/Favorit . The mounting kit is £9-99. And delivery £7-50 delivery (Next Day) with a 1 hour delivery window.

Total price for the rear Kit is £63-66 plus £7-50 delivery. Special offer this week only.

Graham,

Sounds interesting but I feel I should wait until my existing order is fulfilled in it's entirety before ordering any more items.

By the way, you have a PM (sent yesterday at 10:30 am) which contains mostly the same information as in my email of last Friday evening.
