Pictures of my Yeti....

Featured Replies

Never posted pictures of my Yeti despite having owned it for more than 4 months. So here are some recent ones.

Colour is now defunct Storm Blue. Gobi leather trim, Annapurna alloys, Columbus and uprated sound. 3 spoke steering wheel.

Nice pics. Great interior. So that is what the standard Yeti 3 spoke MFSW looks like. Nice pic's of you squatting as wellemoticon-0140-rofl.gif Your Columbus looks almost as dirty as mineemoticon-0136-giggle.gif. The Columbus & Sound System work well together....Those Annapuma's have grown on me. Still want to change to 16" Mooin's though.

I find the 3 spoke wheel very comfortable to use, the raised parts at '10 to 2' fit my hands nicely. The Annapurnas are nice (well I like them) but after the Surrey Yeti Adventure when I had the puncture and damaged a rim, I found they are diamond cut and cost more to repair than to replace......(many thanks to Jmaes at Allams for supplying the replacement for this)

Andy

Looks good, but a bit darker than I expected.

Thought the Storm Blue was lighter.

Is there a way to make the pictures easier to view, they're about twice the size of my screen?

I have an Octavia vRS 3 spoke steering wheel with the flappy paddles, and it is a joy to use as you say, but the vRS MFSW has the added benefit of perforated leather, so your hands don't slip when they get sweaty.

Mike

Looks very nice :-) I nearly went for that shade of blue before I decided on the Muscovado.

Sorry about that, have now resized.

Thanks.

A full set of buttons under the climate control dials, elegance, fancy wheels, columbus, three spoke wheel... is there anything this Yeti doesn't have? :D

The only factory extra I didn't have was silver roof rails.

Andy

I really like the Storm Blue with Gobi. Shame Storm Blue is going but I am sure the replacement colour will be nice!

Your Yeti is looking very clean and tidy!

Wow, must have cost nearly £10k more than our petrol DSG SE. :o

Nice to have no blank switch holes though. Pet hate of mine.

Aha, mine is one up on yours then

It does look really nice in Storm Blue - the new dark metallic blue will have to go some to improve on it. My old Octavia was in Storm Blue and looked a treat when polished up.

It does make you wonder whether a change in colour was forced on Skoda due to the problems of supply from Japan. I read somewhere (Daily Telegraph I think) that quite a few paint supplies had been affected by the loss of a factory producing the base material used in paint used by car manufacturers - even those here in Europe.

Whatever, your Yeti will be a member of a small and exclusive group.

Yes, Land Rover are having the same issues due to the Japan crisis.

Some colours (including a nice blue) have been pulled from sale.

Hi mate, Nice Yeti and thanks for sharing.

Can I ask if the storwage box under the front drivers seat is removed when you opt for the 12 speaker system? Is that where the amp is fitted?

You still get the drawer. Amp is at floor level. Big gap between drawer and amp....

Sadly no drawer on driver's side with Electric drivers' seat :(

Sorry to mislead you, the drawer is under the passenger seat as is the amp. No drawer under the electric drivers seat as Merlin man said above. The BT receiver is under the drivers seat I believe.

There's no drawer under the non-electric driver's seat either (or at least, not in my Elegance) - just the one on the passenger side.

I already know that. I was just wondering if you opted for the amp would this delete the drawer under the passenger seat but as you say, no it doesn't.

Another question from me is the heated screen. The button is on the climate control unit but can you purchase this and is the wiring there already?

The screen itself is certainly available, but expensive. I saw the invoice when mine was replaced,it about £350. Don't know wether the wiring is already installed or not, but I would have thought the cost of retrofitting the screen, even if its possible, would be prohibitivly costly.
