Hi everybody,

my name is David and I´m from Madrid (Spain), I live in a small town in the mountains 30km away from the city. I have a `02 Audi TT MTM with the Quattro system and I was using since now a `00 VW Golf IV 1.9 TDI 110HP with 287.000km... and was a good time to look for a new car. After long time looking for the best option for my every day use I had on the table three options all of them second hand. My first choice was a `04 VW Touareg R5 with a price of 15.000€, but the expensive services, and the poor reliability in some crithical points made me forget it. My second choice was a `04 Audi Allroad for 13.000€, best quality in plastics and buttons, but again the many problems they have with the air suspension system and the delicate engine made me take it out. Last option was the Skoda Scout, more simple but with a cheap service and low consumption put it on the first row... I found a `08 unit with low mileage, only 36.000km but without warranty. A good price made me consider seriously... But I started to look for stock units on dealers and after many calls I get a irresistible offer... A dealer gave me 2700€ for my Golf and they had a Silver Scout on stock with Xenon, LED day lights and Bluetooth for 23.500€. There was no option, I said yes. I will take too the official Skoda 3 years warranty extension, 5 in total.

Maybe I will take it in a few days from the dealer... I hope to share with you my experience and have a nice time on the forum.

Well... I have a nice Scout since last Friday!

I would like to show you some pics and a small vid.

Black and White display looks nice and elegant...

Nice detail to include the oil temperature...

Clima with Off and Dual buttons... I think they were not in the Octavia II pre-facelift

OK, slightly premature as I've not exactly started it as yet, however this is here as a placeholder to make sure I get it done and done quickly. i don't want this project to hang around too long! The plan for the Two-Piece Not Quite So Variable Boot Floor is to have two pieces of wood that form the raised boot floor, with a join betwixt the two roughly half way back. Each piece of which can be lifted out if required, but the expectation is that the rear most section would be put in last/lifted

Hello everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with my brake pedal (basically going to the floor), and I suspect it might be related to the ABS module. I tried to scan the ABS unit for fault codes using VCDS, but I’m unable to communicate with it: it seems like CAN communication is not available. Is this normal on a Fabia Mk2 (5J), or should I definitely be able to access the ABS module via CAN? Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I am looking to remove the spare wheel and lower the boot floor in a 2016 4x4 Yeti - so that there is a larger flat area once the seats are removed. This is what my searches have brought up regards doing this: "With the Haldex four-wheel-drive system, the rear differential and 4x4 running gear sit directly beneath the boot.
