most people tend to agree that the std will do just fine, but a green or k&n will do the job fine if you willing to spend £30ish emoticon-0148-yes.gif

If your after an aftermarket one then Pipercross is your best bet in my opinion; an incorrectly/over oiled cotton filter (green, K&N etc) can damage your MAF sensor, there's no chnce of this with Pipercross as its a dry foam filter.

didnt realise the pipercross were dry emoticon-0148-yes.gif.... i remeber using a itg over 10 years and it being the most overly oiled filter ever and causing all manner of troubles in the old piperwork emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

I'm going to stick with standard on mine. I don't think it's worth the money or hassle on a TDI.

If you're fitting a 160 intake let me know. I need a standard pipe as mine is broken.

BMC panel filter :)

Fits perfectly.

I wouldn't pay the £90 the Stealers want for it, best bet is scrappies or even ebay

It would just be a matter of getting them to order it in, my local skoda parts dept. normally gets thier orders in within 2 days, dont know about other ones.

Ive had on my old car a pd160 intake and green cotton filter And on my vRS a pd160 with pipercross I recommend it mate, great mod combo

BMC filters are by far the best, have used them for years on various applications and they have never let me down....I`ve seen too many foam filters break up to even consider fitting one....they also have poor filtration. You wont go far wrong with a standard paper filter...they have the biggest filter surface area of all.

Either a Green Cotton filter or a K&N panel filter will fit your Fabia.
