You did read the article you linked to didn't you ?

No, I read the article in the magazine. But I just checked online version and although it doesn't have table it refers to placing it 4th. As per my post, 520 was 1st, E220 2nd and Superb 3rd.

This week autocar mag put Superb 2.0 TDI Elegance ahead of the new Audi A6 2.0 TDI. It put Superb 3rd behind BMW 5 series 1st and Merc E Class 2nd.

Interesting read - although the A6 is a pretty dull boring fleet car, Audi will still shift them. The emissions on the Audi are much lower than the Superb (I think 129 g/km vs 155 g/km) and therefore perhaps a lot of company car drivers may opt for the cheaper option. Guess it depends how much you can afford?
