The hunt is on again!

Featured Replies

So the hunt for another vrs is on, I brought my red 2001 plate for a fair price of just £1600 ok the mot was short but now has 12 months on it I have done a few mods cai kit, and forge 007p valve, and I love it!! And so does my partner so much so I spend more time in her Nissan :( so I am looking for one for her to get mine back!!! I have looked on eBay and found then abit over priced?? Like 2001 plate £1900-2100 if your lucky. So did I get a good deal or are people just asking too much? Have you foud a good vrs atca fair price? Pls let me know

looks like you may have got a good deal, had a quick look about but but they all seem to start about the 2k mark

EDIT: does it have to be a vRS or will a 1.8t thats done up be ok?

What is the difference? Is it just the spec? Open to look at anything

just found this one

depends how far you want to travel too.

The normal 1.8t is down on power to the vRS by 30bhp, I've got mine re-mapped so it's now about 195bhp(this was what I was told it would be) which is 15bhp up on the vRS.

As for the general spec on the car it will depend on the trim level, and any optional extras the original owner had put on when ordering

That's a cheap rs I see that one on eBay but it's done 150.000 miles I was told these 1.8 t engines are only good for 170.000? Mine is on a 2001 plate and only done 109.000 miles think I was just lucky on finding mine

Where did you hear that? seen some 1.8t's with 200k on them and even some at 240k, all depends how well they're looked after
