Felicia Coilovers

Featured Replies

Another request for help if I may chaps,

Coilovers, for a Felicia hatch 1.3Mpi... My lowering springs are working well but my shocks are too soft and i would like to be lower... I have already thwacked the gearbox on a speedbump so they need to be stiff... Basically, and this is a big ask, could someone source a set for me or tell me where to order them? Or can anyone custom make them? Work has just cut off unortharised searches on the interweb and i have (now) just finished paperwork for the night so this is a cry for help. If it can be done, beer tokens will be provided.

Massive cheers, i need sleep.

- Duggie.

this is something i've been thinking about for a while now, my next door neighbours son lives in cz so i might try and get him to send some over..

you will struggle to find any for a felicia at all except in cz, i custom made a few sets a few years ago but it was prohibitively exspensive to mass produce

here's a pic of the ones i made just to give you inspiration (or to enrage you with jealousy :giggle: )

edit: iirc a member on here with a pickup called rolo ended up wih one set of my custom jobbies, i will make some more if needed, lets say £1000 for a set of 4

1000 notes is too much for me, the car only cost 300! If you get any news from your man in CZ I would be interested, however, I do not speak Czech so have no idea where to get started myself! As for your handiwork bud, skills I could Only dream of... Nicely done.

Inspired, jealous and excitedly awaiting news! :).

P.s, I work for Skoda in Oxford so if it could come in handy, give me a shout.

Duggie: www.hpsporting.cz ;) For translation you can use Google Translator. I can order them, but i don't know how much shipping cost...

skury: to ship these to the uk you would also have to add VAT when they enter the uk so it would make them very expensive.

Or go on holiday to the czech rep. and get them fitted: no VAT, fun (??) road trip!? I hear its lovely this time of year!

That's awesome guys, which set would I need? Sporting? Racing? CZ site looks good!

Thumbs up!

Why? I think you don't need to add VAT, we are in EU... And prices on that site are with VAT

All is about the money. :) But Sporting is right for you.

Import duty?? Dunno, but I bet Dave'll want to add a few quid to it at some point! Getting them into the country with no additional tax somwhere along the line is surely too good to be true! Smuggle them in with some cigarettes in the bottom of a container!

You shouldn't have to pay any extra duty or tax to import something from Czech. They're in the EU. I bought some HP Sporting shocks - just paid the price on their website plus postage.

They do answer emails in English, but they prefer German.

Cheers

James
