The boss lady and I have always enjoyed the odd weekend away during the course of the year, but we seem to be booking more of them since we acquired Betty back in January. Sometimes when she's suggested trips in the past I've been reluctant, but now each time I'm thinking "oooooh, that would be a nice run for Betty".

Next outing, to the land of the wild and woolly Welshmen. We're off to the Heineken Cup Final in Cardiff (my choice) but I readily agreed to extend the trip to spend a couple of days on the Gower. It'll be down on the motorway (M62, M6, M5, M4) but a more leisurely return up the middle of Wales; exploring Betty's versatility again.

Now that's an EXTREMELY good idea Bobdog, and a VERY sensible use of your time and Betty's resources.

100% agree. Monster has WAY more miles on his clock in six months than any car I've owned before. I've never driven to Edinburgh but have done so now twice and beyond as the Yeti just makes it so effortless.

Elsie has been to Edinburgh too!!! You overtook me for about a week about a month ago and then I went to Inverness and back to spoil it all again! You will catch up soon and overtake me for good I imagine.
