Huh?

You're not sending a text message, no need to abbreviate everything quite so much.

Didn't leave any lights on did you?

It's ironic that you use abbreviation to type the post quicker in less characters for people to read it faster, yet I've read your post several times and still struggling to understand what your on about thus taking alot longer than if you typed proper!!

I think he means:

I tried to start my Fabia on monday, but the engine wouldn't crank over fast enough to start, so I suspected a flat battery. I tried jump starting it, but it didn't work for whatever reason, so I started it using the bump start method.

I have never had to do this before, and the car has even been left for 6 weeks without a problem before. It was only left for 8 hours on this occasion.

Now that the car is running, it seems to be down on power, but I could be imagining it. Is it anything that anyone on here has encountered before? Perhaps it is a common problem with the Fabia?

It's a 56 plate By the way.

 I'm in an ace mood today.

Good morning Chaps wot wot i tried to start my automobile on the afternoon of monday the 2nd and damn and blast the jolly thing wouldn't start we tried to jump start from jeeves car and the bloody thing wouldn't roar into life so jeffery towed me behind his 4x4 and we got it started any of fine chaps had a similar unprovoked issue of late wot wot ttfn clear?

Now your just extracting the urine.

Plus you have no punctuation and really your grammar (thats grammar not grandma) is appalling so its hard to read your posting.

You want help, just ask but don't expect people to be able to understand what your on about if your too lazy to make your post legible.

Ahhhh, our "eBay chip" friend. Have a look, the same seller as the aforementioned chip, also sells "magic starting fairy dust". Basicly, sprinkle some of the dust around the engine bay & steering wheel. Wait 30 seconds & it'll start instantly, first time. Don't use it all at once tho, cos it'll not turn off then.

I'm afraid I didn't see anything on there for your **** poor attitude, which is a shame, never mind!

Matt

Ok im going to be civil to matt_j.

I remember you now from the mod chip thread as matt1chelski has already mentioned.

Now listen here, the reason your car wont start is because you went out and bought that ebay modchip and now your car is stuffed.

Hope your happy with yourself :D

It's funny how he tried to be posh with the chaps wot wot comment, now then wot wot?? It's what what it's one more bloody letter that's all!

Ha ha! What a funny thread!

Does anyone actually know what's up with his car? Or is it the modchip?

Why do you feel the need to be real sarky ****ers as on other thread chip is gone was on 30 seconds and that was months ago had no issue's till now just wondered it if was a common issue or something jesus won't bother in future let me know when you get down off you ******* high horse

It does sound like the battery though if it struggled to turn over. Have you done anything to wear out the battery the night before?

If your car is running low on power, get someone to check for fault codes on VCDS. Hopefully that will show what's causing the issues, if no fault codes it might be the battery

Resistor mod (god knows what that may do, hopefully its actually taken off now), changed radio (could be causing battery drain since its been changed recently), still, imo its most likely a dead battery.

If it's not been an issue before, could be maybe the alternator has stopped charging the battery? :S Although I'd guess that would bring up a fault code/light.

Try scanning it - might bring up some useful errors.

Don't remeber doing anything crazy to drain it rear washer did stop working so turned the pump over a few time off the key to try and find fault but surely that wouldn't of zapped it would it?

LOL

Oooooooo calm down dear!!

has he got the common fault with the charge sense wire on the front of the gearbox breaking, causing the alternator not to charge properly combined with short journies?

you know that pesky blue wire

Ahhhhh!
