Bov noise when I change gears?

I've noticed there is like a hissing or swoosh sound when I change the gears? It very much sounds like a bov. I never noticed the noice before and i'm a bit confussed now because I thought all standard cars didn't make any bov noise? Can anyone give me any idea why it might make this noise. I hope it's nothing bad or anything! Cheers

all turbo cars have some sort of BOV / re-circ valve.

I never hear it on mine.

Has a previous owner put on an after-market dump valve (I don't know if you've had it from new)?

If it's loud it's possibly something is wrong.
