changing left gear box mounting

i have been having loads of knocking creaking problems from my fabia vrs , changed all droplinks dogbone mount front and back wishbone bushes , but still get knocking pulling off breaking and vibration really bad when i boot in in 1st and 2nd.

been searching again on this site and found a thread about a engine mount under the battery tray , i think the noises seen to be coming from there. can i do this myself as i did the dogmount and have ramps etc.

heard engine needs supporting, can this just be supported with anything underneath , eg jack up then lower it onto a wheel or something similair...
