I definitly wouldnt have fitted them like that either but o well lol. just about to get some crossovers for my fronts and im thinking either inside the door card or behind the dash is the best place, unsure of which is gonna be better though

That's is a nice setup you got there again im not to keen on where the speakers are placed but get pics up when you get your new door cards

yeah cross over staying for now untill the new door cards are made then they will be inset a bit but still on show with leds in the unit to light them up, no vibration as mdf is behind the plastic, after paying 200 for the speakers i would put them in the steering wheel if i could to show them off!!

My front components are worth 400 quid, but hidden away, no need to show them off, it appeals to thieves.......

I've never seen the point in showing off speakers - they are there for your ears, not your eyes They are never going to sound as good as they could being attached there

I know I'm very much in the minority but I still really like it, when I get the new door cards it will be better again just all the fabias on here are looking the same no one is straying away being risky, I will keep on with the non oem look for the inside as once it's finished it will all be worth it!
