Engine mounts on Vrs

Featured Replies

Probably an easy question for people on here - My Octy started sounding a bit like a diesel tonight, rattling slightly on acceleration and braking. Dead quiet on tickover. I looked under the bonnet and the left hand side of the engine seems lower than the right. Does this indicate a broken engine mount and if so, are they expensive to buy and are they easy enough to fit? I have no idea on where they are on the car and obviously it's too dark now! Any help on this would be most appreciated.

Is theer any info on the Internet on how to dothis?

Thanks guys

Paul

Thanks for that - took it to a local garage and they've said the and that it sounds like a problem with the suspension mounts. I've got to book it in for a look and I'll let people know the outcome (Hope it's cheap enough!)

Thanks again

If you need a new mount I have my old engine mounts available that you can have for the price of postage if you want. Gearbox side is only a couple of years old too!
