I read a thread a week or so ago that the Skoda Car Configurator was down (and at the time of typing this it is still down).

I have bookmarked the Configurator to automatically load each time I view Firefox. However, when I subsequently refresh the page I note that the status line flashes up a Facebook url a couple of times although there is no visual indication of Facebook on the screen - does anyone know what that is all about?

Every page on the Skoda UK site, if you look at its HTML source, ends with a function that loads a large amount of Javascript from Facebook. The Skoda site appears to make no use of it, though. Maybe this is in preparation for some Facebook integration in future, or maybe it's just another example of the sloppiness and lack of attention to detail that afflicts so much of Skoda UK's website.
