does it need a treatment (any dangerous to more color peeling or to rust ?)

you can check your vin plate will give you the correct paint number,under the bonnet get it done asap you will get a little metal scrubber and paint / varnish they come in two pack, ebay get it cheap :thumbup:

surely this will be done under your warranty? if you do it yourself, you know what dealers are like, they try to find any excuse to null and void the warranty

Numbered and lettered identification tag on the windscreen, bottom corner near the scuttle panel, below wipers :)

Don't bet on it - had bubbling paint on my few months old Octavia a few years ago and Skoda refused to do anything as they said it was stone chips - not sure how it causes paint bubbles but they didn't budge.

Indeed - went through hours of letter writing, taking advice etc and apart from paying for a specialiast paint inspection which would cost £££, I asked the dealer how much he would take off at part ex time for them to do the repair and he said £200 tops so I left it - not worth the hassle for £200 and in the end as the car was on PCP I just cancelled the agreement and they took the car back.
