A professionally fitted multi-point LPG system(AC Stag 300) was fitted October-07 with a certificate of authentication.

Fitted with a 50-litre tank with a 200-mile range locally, and well over 200-miles on a run, it equates to 50+ miles per gallon, i.e. car averages 25-mpg x 2, for nearly half price fuel = 75p/litre for LPG.

This is on a par with a diesel golf.

This week it went in for a diagnostic check and found injectors were slightly noisy so new O rings fitted.

204 BHP producing engine.

Milltek (resonated) cat-back exhaust system, complimented with a BMC performance air filter installed in the standard air box.

Car fitted with standard R32 suspension struts, springs, front and rear with top mounts and bearings to the front. Also R32 front and rear ARB's with bushes and links, and to compliment an R32 dog-bone mount was installed at the same time.

The R32 suspension mod, is probably the best £ for £ mod that can be fitted to any 4-Mo, resulting in a complete transformation of the car.

Power Steering,

Electronic Stability program (including ABS)

6 speed gearbox

Boot mounted Six CD player.

Climate Control.

(Heated)Electric mirrors.

Cruise Control.

Comfort Indicators.

Electric Sunroof(tilt and slide).

Auto dimming rear view mirror.

16” Brands Hatch Alloys (ideally need refurb)

Remote Central locking with alarm chirp and Anti hijacking (car locks when you go over 10mph and unlocks automatically when you remove the key.)

Auto-windows (press and hold the remote to lock and it will shut windows and sunroof automatically)

The car is in very good all around condition and is exceptionally economical to run with the autogas system installed, it’s close to the equivalent mpg of running a diesel, and with no power loss. The car is well cared for example.

Any further questions that I have forgotten to answer please do contact me and/or to arrange viewings.

Forgot to mention that it has both keys with plastic key with SKC code.

Nice car. Slightly OT but I have one of these! How did you manage to activate the window opening and closing from the remote?

Can I ask what's OT about it?

As this car is a pre March 2001 the road tax is calculated on engine size and not CO2.

So its cheaper @ £215 per year rather than post March 2001 that are £260 per year!

Can I ask what's OT about it?

"off topic" the topic is about selling the car not how he modded it!! :)

Following a few enquires; I thought I would provide additional information to the advert.

There are plenty of insurance brokers who specialise in getting quality and affordable modified car insurance.

I achieved a price of £400 (April 2011) with Sky Insurance brokers with all modifications declared including the LPG system, as long as the modifications don’t increase BHP by more than 20% (which these don’t) you should be fine.

This obviously depends on age, location and penalty points etc!

This is the company that installed the LPG system in 2007(below) so have a look and should answer any questions you may have on the system etc

I have found filling stations easily accessible but like petrol stations vary in price, so shop around!

Here is a website that could help.

Any other questions I can help with please ask.
