I have recently bought a FMIC with EGR delete built into the pipe work.

I have an 06 plate fabia VRS. And was wondering what advantage does a EGR delete have? And also I know it brings up the ecu light. So can it be mapped out?

It stops your intake getting clogged with grime. And cuts out any egr related problems (there are a few).

But won't you fail an MOT when the law gets introduced? If so sounds like hassle to me for no increase in power.

What are the problems apart from it leaking?

i have a blanking plate that removes mine so at a glance and the engine by all looks normal
