Well took delivery of my new shiny VRS in Candy White, diesel, 6 speed manual, with a couple of optional extras. Odered it on 10/12/10 so qualify for the £150.00 M&S vouchers as compensation.

Was it worth the wait? .....hell yes, done 40 or so miles since picking it up earlier today and excuse the expression.. but its like **** off a shovel (old Yorkshire saying lol), corners like it's on rails & got 42 + mpg so far messing around town.

Am I going to like?.....in love already...the wife already feels as though she has got her nose pushed out. She drove it & stalled it, well a few choice words from.lol...enough said.

Lol & cheers m8...if its nice tomorrow am going to wash, polish & apply 2 coats of wax using Autoglym product....was going to let the dealer do this untill I spoke a guy giving demonstrations outside my local Halford who advised it was a rip off for £299 & i could get the same result for £50 outlay & a lot of elbow grease.....dont mind doing that on my new love of my life...lol.

Can I enquire as to how you went about getting the vouchers? I'm due to pick up my VRS next week and ordered it on the 3/12/10 so judging by your case I should be able to get lots of £10 meal deals too!

good man welcome to the collective I took delivery of my diesel in March remapped yesterday running 206bhp on standard air filter then 215bhp on K&N panel filter its like having a new car again CHANGED it so much for the better got 6mpg more on spirited drive away from having it done compared to drive to the place !!

My car is now registered in Holland and they dont put it up but when I move back to the UK I will keep myself right and tell them just need to shop around some just increase your excess
